How Long Does The Pet Transportation Process To Norfolk Island Take?

NORFOLK ISLAND REQUIREMENTS
Dogs
- Blood Test for Heartworm – within 30 days of departure (dogs over 6 months of age only)
- Blood Test for Leptospirosis – within 14 days of departure (for dogs only) Must test negative for specific serovars as listed on the Import Permit
- Internal & External Parasite Treatments –Treatment within 2 days of departure
- Canine Heartworm treatment (dogs over 6 months of age only)– within 2 days of departure
- Export Veterinary Inspection & Export Paperwork finalisation – within 2 days of departure
- NB1 – the 2 blood tests can be done in the ONE veterinary appointment if done between 10-12 days prior to departure. Please speak with your consultant before arranging this
- NB2 – All Blood Test MUST be tested at an approved Lab. Under Cats update text to these 2 points – Export Veterinary Inspection & Export Paperwork finalisation – within 2 days of departure
- Internal & External Parasite Treatment – within 2 days of departure
Cats
- Export Veterinary Inspection & Export Paperwork finalisation – within 2 days of departure
- Internal & External Parasite Treatment – within 2 days of departure.
Vaccines
- C3 vaccine for dogs – vaccines should be given at least 14 days old before export.
- F3 vaccine for cats – vaccines should be given at least 14 days old before export.
- Puppies & Kittens must also be fully vaccinated against Canine parvovirus, Canine distemper and Canine hepatitis.
- Please note: animals less than 12 weeks of age cannot be considered to be fully vaccinated.
